駱海天、羅豪及杜倫三人筋疲力竭地背著背囊向前走。是夜結識了萬人杰，其原是吉林有名的捕快，已年老隱居。年老的采參人陳大叔與女相依為命，依靠女兒綿綿捕貂度活。恰遇駱、羅及杜三人，收留于家中，陳大叔獨對杜倫生好感，暗中欲掐為婿，并將久藏之兩支老人參作女兒嫁妝，為人陰險的駱海天偷窺到，暗中想計策破壞……
