身高一米八三、身形魁梧、胃口極佳、常常被人誤叫做“sir”的名副其實的女漢子Miranda（米蘭達·哈特 Miranda Hart 飾）第三季歸來！
與觀眾闊別多時，她的生活發生了不少變化：她開的那家半吊子“玩笑商店”終于因經營不善而迎來破產，好朋友兼店老板Stevie（薩拉·哈德蘭 Sarah Hadland 飾）找了另一份更加“正經”的行政工作。受其刺激，Miranda也找了一份新的辦公室工作，第一天上班的她又洋相百出。另一方面，Miranda和曖昧許久的男神Gary（湯姆·艾利斯 Tom Ellis 飾）決定不再約會，做回普通朋友。媽媽Penny（派翠西亞·霍吉 Patricia Hodge 飾）又要操心Miranda的終身大事了……
