《清潔工》劇情簡介
故事描述普通工薪階層女性Sam（Sheridan Smith）被夾在兩個世界之間——一方面，她是個忠于家庭的賢妻良母，過著平凡的日常生活；另一方面，她在危險的內線交易中越陷越深?？瓷先am只是個什么都不懂的辦公室清潔女工，和成千上萬清潔女工一樣干的是「零時工合同」（zero hours contract）工作。每當金絲雀碼頭（倫敦金融區）的辦公室文員都回家休息，便是她們開始擦窗、掃地、倒垃圾的時間。一天天起早貪黑，只能賺幾個辛苦錢。更糟糕的是，Sam因為沉迷于在線賭博早就債臺高筑。但是Sam具備許多人都部具備的先天優勢：她是極少數能最早獲悉寶貴的股市信息的人。如果應用得當，所有的愿望都能成真，她很快就變成大富婆了。
