由Liz Meriwether負責﹑J.J. Philbin執筆的ABC單鏡頭喜劇《單親家長 Single Parents》是根據她們所寫的故事改編，講述一群失衡的單親家長在彼此的幫忙下撫養孩子及尋找新愛情。
Taran Killam飾演單親父親Will Cooper，女兒是他的一切，不過他太著緊女兒令他不太像爺們﹑Leighton Meester飾演單親母親Angie，有個過份依戀她的兒子，堅強的她多年來一直勤奮工作維持生計﹑Brad Garrett飾演富有﹑退休的鄉村俱樂部成員Douglas，他為人家長及對性別定位看法都很老派，而且認為大小問題都能用錢解決。
